A total of 32 participants attended the NCD Key Population Forum at the Lamana Hotel conference room on 6 June 2022. The participants were members of Igat Hope PNG, Friends Frangipani, Kapul Champion, Hetura PNG Association Inc. and Youths Association.  The forum identified barriers to services on GBV, Human Rights, TB, Malaria and HIV, STI and participants identified to improve these services based on personal experiences. 

Community forums are also venues for community-led monitoring (CLM Platform 4) of quality of services or assessment of reasons and opportunities for KPs who have not accessed any of the HIV nd health services. The CLM Facility Scorecard was administered among participants who accessed a service in the past 6 months, and a CLM Issue Documentation Tool was administered among those who have not accessed any services.

Community convening in NCD with our communities who do have not access to a clinic to explore what are the barriers and how #KPAC can support easy access. A discussion around Per Exposure Prophylaxes (PrEP) resulted in community members showing interest in enrolling in PrEP. 

A total of 20 community members attended the session at Shady Rest Hotel in NCD on the 29 of April 2023.
